Java Developer SUMMARY Java developer provides application design guidance and consultation. Utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Analyze highly complex business requirements Design and write technical specifications to design and redesign complex computer platforms and applications Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code Acts as expert technical resources for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 4 years application development and implementation experience Proficient in Java, HTML and JavaScript Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS and other assets: Perform data analysis, using in-depth knowledge of databases with the proven ability to understand data, it's relationships to other data and relationships to business concepts. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and complete artifacts, including solution design support. Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams regarding enhancements, changes, issues and defects that may impact development, data, workflow and/or functionality. Effectively communicate with many levels of the organization, business stakeholders, project managers, developers, system architects, quality assurance, operations, etc. Document, discuss and resolve business, data and reporting issues within the team, across functional teams, and with business stakeholders Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
