What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wait Staff position at Harbor Boynton Management, LLC?
Will act as a mentor for new associates
Ensures all check lists are completed during shift
Ensures temperature logs are completed during shift
Assign job tasks and complete and assign additional job duties as
needed, and follow up on assigned tasks
Work with DOH on schedules
Wet floor signs are in place
Up holds all Sanitation requirements
Resident complaints and recovery – along with cooks do table
touches to ensure resident satisfaction
Ensure memory care is being served in a timely fashion and ensure
server is present to help with clean up in MC
Ensures the dining areas exceed standards of appearance and
cleanliness
Ensures staff maintains their personal hygiene, uniform standards,
and health standards
Maintain and protect the confidentiality of resident information at
all times
Provide a pleasant dining experience for all community residents,
while following instructions to meet their specific dietary needs
when necessary
Responsible for the proper dining set-up of the dining room(s)
while meeting or exceeding hospitality and service standards
Obtain food and supplies for meal service as directed
Distribute and store clean dishes
Practice safe, sanitary food handling for food preparation, food
holding and service
Assist I preparation of foods as directed
Perform cleaning duties in dining room, kitchen, serving areas,
cafeteria and storerooms as directed
Mop floors in areas as designated by supervisor
Practice and observe all safety and loss prevention procedures;
adhere to universal precautions and all infection control guidelines
May perform other duties or fill in for other dining room or wait
staff as requested
The ability to work in a safe and alert manner
The ability to take ownership for associate’s safety and the safety
of the residents
Must disclose any medication that might impair associate’s ability
to perform the job safely or competently
