Key Responsibilities:
- Assist is building and maintaining a fair and competitive compensation structure, including salary grades, pay grades, job evaluations, and pay ranges, ensuring alignment with business needs and employee performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market data and industry trends to assess competitive positioning and make recommendations for adjustments to salary bands and compensation policies.
- Contribute to the development of total rewards strategies, ensuring they align with employee retention goals, and talent attraction efforts.
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate job roles, responsibilities, and compensation, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Collect, analyze, and present compensation-related data, prepare reports for management to inform decision-making and to support regular compensation reviews and adjustments.
- Advise the HR leadership team on compensation matters, explaining policies and recommendations.
- Coordinate and prepare data needed for compensation surveys, monitor survey data and present results.
- Continuously evaluate and refine compensation processes and tools for efficiency and accuracy. Support the integration of compensation data into HR systems.
- Ensure compensation practices comply with relevant labor laws and regulations, while also reflecting best practices in total rewards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5 years of experience in compensation analysis, including demonstrated success in designing compensation structures and programs.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and familiarity with compensation management software and HRIS.
- Extensive knowledge of compensation best practices, including salary benchmarking, job evaluation, incentive plans, and variable compensation.
- Understanding of compensation-related regulations, including minimum wage, overtime, and pay equity laws (FLSA, EEOC, etc.).
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, draw insights, and present actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex compensation information to diverse stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in compensation calculations, reports, and program implementation.
