Human Resource Intern

Harbor Group Management Company is an established real estate investment/property management company headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia with more than $20 billion in assets under management, the firm invests in and manages diversified property portfolios including office, retail, and multifamily properties.
Job Summary: The intern will gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of human resources while also diving into strategic initiatives that support both the property management and corporate teams. The Intern participates in the Company’s Mission, Values, and promotes the Vision of Excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing employer brand strategies that align with the company's values, mission, and culture
Participate in HR compliance audits and documentation updates.
Provide administrative support to HR team members, including creating reports and presentations.
Contribute to special projects and research within the Human Resources team to help enhance the employee and candidate experience.
Supports recruiting process: Updating job descriptions, posting of positions, vetting applications and resumes, organizing interviews with candidates.
Assist with other tasks & projects assigned by manager.

4-year accredited program enrollment
10-week commitment (June 4th - August 8th)
Willing to travel for both the Kick-Off and Capstone events
Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
