We are currently seeking a talented Dental Practice Manager to join our team at the Ellen Jones Community Dental Center in Dennis.

Role:
The Dental Practice Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior VP of the Community Health Centers, Medical Directors and Dental Directors to ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the clinical and operations departments at the Dental Center.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in the planning, directing, coordinating and/or supervising of dental health care services.
- Daily responsibility for the scheduling and realignment of staff to ensure effective coverage for efficient patient access and flow.
- Interacts and problem solves with providers to remove barriers to streamlined, high quality patient care.
- Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates, and develops a diverse multidisciplinary staff.
- Directly supervises administrative staff and certain clinical staff, of assigned practice site.
- Ensures all related processes such as referrals, appointments, clinical indicators etc. are implemented and maintained for optimal outcomes.
- Ensures that all office and medical supplies are maintained.
- Assists in the implementation and monitoring of new initiatives.
- Collects cash receipts and reconciles daily revenue.
- Develops, implements and manages data driven quality reports and makes recommendations as appropriate.
- Assists the SVP, CHCs, Medical Director and Dental Director with audits and other regulatory activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, health care management, or related field preferred or equivalent experience such as 5 years of experience in healthcare operations
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility managing teams in a business and or healthcare environment, ambulatory practice experience preferred
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of health planning and clinic management, including Patient Registration, Scheduling, Template Building and Referral Management
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills across a broad range of constituents
- Ability to lead and develop teams focused on patient satisfaction; proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience in a Community Health Center setting preferred
- Technical experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR), 2 years of experience with/knowledge of EPIC/OCHIN EHR preferred
- Familiarity with health insurance, health care regulations, and DPH/HRSA preferred
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, Word and Outlook and Teams
- Must be familiar with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Metrics
