POSITION OVERVIEW The Sr. Designer at Harbor Health will play a crucial role in shaping our experiences for stakeholders (including consumers, providers, brokers, and employers) through innovative design solutions. This position will lead the visual direction of our brand across digital and print platforms, ensuring consistency and excellence in how we communicate with our members and partners. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on design execution to support Harbor Health's mission of transforming healthcare in Austin. POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design process from concept to execution across multiple projects, including digital platforms, marketing materials, and member communications Enhance and maintain Harbor Health's visual brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints while evolving the brand as the organization grows Create user-centered designs for digital products and services that enhance stakeholder experiences and support our innovative healthcare delivery model Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and clinical teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutions Mentor junior designers and provide art direction while fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5 years of experience in digital product design, with a proven track record of delivering successful design solutions Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user interface design, visual design, and brand development Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and experience with design systems Experience in healthcare or related industries preferred, with an understanding of designing for diverse user needs Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to various stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience This is a remote role WHAT WE OFFER Opportunity to shape the visual identity and member experience of an innovative healthcare organization Collaborative and dynamic work environment An organization made of people who are passionate about changing the healthcare landscape Competitive salary and benefits package Professional development and growth opportunities A transparent and unique culture Harbor Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
