Job Summary :
Harbor Care is seeking a Recovery Support Worker to provide guidance, assistance and supportive services to individuals and families who are experiencing co-occurring (mental health and substance use disorders) issues. The successful candidate will be familiar with recovery-oriented systems of care. This position is part-time for 1, 2, or 3 nights per week.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Recovery Support Worker Certification (eligible or in process within one-year of employment)
- Required Minimum of 1-year experience in a related field such as Mental Health or Substance Use Disorders
- Ability to pass Medicine Administration Training
- Computer skills, including proficient typing skills
- Valid Driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications :
Two-years or more of college-level coursework or post-secondary school certifications in applicable fieldCertified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW)Experience working in a residential substance-use treatment facilityExperience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR); AthenaPractice preferredCandidate should possess sound judgment and excellent boundary skills.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Provide direct client services, including facilitation of recovery support groups, engaging with clients to develop trusting relationships to enhance successful substance abuse outcomes, supervising self-administration of medications, completing random urinalysis or oral swabs, transportation to appointments or community events, completing room searches and searching residents upon return to the siteEnsure safety and well-fare of all residents and clientsFollow appropriate procedures for emergency responseNotify on-call manager immediately of any urgent / emergent issues or incidentsTreats all residents and colleagues in a positive and professional mannerPrimary functions include activities in which incumbent must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to clients, and coworkersAssist with in-office paperwork, data entry and / or copyingAssist with consumer file maintenanceAssist with compiling data for and / or assist with writing grants for the program InventoryAttend staff meetings and / or trainings as requiredComplete assigned tasks accurately and timely, including all required documentationAssists each client receiving drug and alcohol treatment in becoming involved with self-help support groups and maintaining social support networksAdhere to all Federal, State, Harbor Care, and Program laws, regulations, guidelines, rules, policies, and proceduresMaintain a safe and professional environment for residents and staffAttends all team meetings in order to facilitate an integrated, multidisciplinary team approachComplete any other special projects assigned by Program Manager (or designee)Other duties as assignedHarbor Care's Commitment :
