Staff Accountant
Location-Fort Smith, AR
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks, including support services for the CEO and CFO. This is an entry level accounting and clerical position with upward mobility and additional responsibilities to be added as candidate learns and grows within the role

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree in accountancy preferred.

Job Duties
- Assist CEO and CFO with administrative and accounting duties, as assigned
- Assist CFO in month end close and report preparation.
- Assist CEO in developing proposals and presentations, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Welcome visitors in the office; notify staff, take and deliver messages
- Perform administrative support tasks, including updating and sorting files, conducting research, completing reports, etc.
- Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies; order and distribute supplies as needed
- Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain databases as needed
- Take initiative to address any problems or unfinished work that may exist
- Maintains quality results by following organizational standards
- Assist with duties necessary for a smooth operation at Headquarters – work with leadership/management staff as needed
- Other duties as assigned
