Harbor is seeking a Manager of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation. The individual delivers services across home, community, and childcare settings. Manager will possess knowledge of the IECMH-C / Prevention standards, continuum of care, service taxonomy, documentation, and technical skills as evidenced through peer review.

Position is full-time, 40 hours per week.

Education / Experience / Other Requirements :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Child and Family Studies, or related degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Professional license in Ohio preferred (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, etc.).
  • Experience or education (BA / BS / MBA) in business management tasks, including creating and monitoring budgets, producing outcomes reporting, and programmatic growth forecasting preferred.
  • Candidate is required to earn their Ohio ECMH Professional Credential once eligible; candidate will be required to earn their Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist (OCPS) or Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant (OCPC) certification.
  • Experience in providing IECMH / Prevention services required.
  • Candidate will have strong attention to detail and be self-motivated and organized, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • CPR / First Aid and NCI / CPI Certifications required within 90 days of employment.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and be deemed insurable through Harbor’s vehicle insurance carrier.
  • Must be proficient and accurate in computer use, including Microsoft Word.
  • When applicable, non-licensed staff will be required to complete 20 hours of CEUs every 24 months.

Essential Job Competencies / Primary Duties :

  • Provides personnel management functions for all assigned staff, including orientation, supervision, annual evaluations, involvement in hiring direct service staff, disciplinary actions, etc.
  • Provides IECMHC / Prevention across settings in all counties in which Harbor has funded grants and executed contracts for these services, including individual, programmatic, and classroom consultation.
  • Provides referral options to clients exhibiting signs and symptoms indicative of mental health treatment needs.
  • Provide Prevention Education and alcohol and other drug information to parents / guardians of our client population.
  • Provides appropriate documentation of required outcomes / outcome data for granted funds / contracts to partner organizations and funding partners.
  • Assist in development, innovation, and implementation of IECMHC / Prevention programs.
  • Assist with RFP / grant writing.
  • Be responsible for data collection.
  • Assist with development and implementation of budgets.
  • Utilizes the required systems for documentation in the format appropriate and acceptable to Harbor and funding partners.
  • In providing services, fulfills or exceeds unit expectations established by Harbor.
  • Develops programming in the area of IECMHC to serve our community.
  • Assists in department / agency committees, activities, and projects, and develops and maintains appropriate relationships with staff members.
  • Keeps current with trends, developments related to essential job competencies, and demonstrates continued growth.
