Summary
The Graphic Designer will grow their existing skills in design execution, collaboration, project support, and researching trends by working with senior creative staff on a range of client facing and marketing projects. They will be responsible for helping to drive the creative direction of communication programs and campaigns. The Graphic Designer will need a sound understanding of typography, layout, animation and art direction to help the team produce the best work possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create visual designs from scratch for a variety of marketing materials, including print and digital assets like brochures, flyers, social media graphics, and website elements
Work closely with creative directors and marketing team to develop creative concepts and strategies, contributing ideas and input during brainstorming and strategic planning sessions
Assist in the production of design materials, including preparing files for print and web to support the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects, while adhering to project deadlines
Conduct market research to understand client needs and stay updated on current design trends and best practices
Create production art/files that’s ready for print
Assemble quotes for printing and coordinate with outside printers
Create, edit, and assist with materials for client presentations
Attend press checks when applicable
Communicate with senior creative team members to receive feedback on designs and utilize that feedback to continually improve and grow
Collaborate and communicate with sales team members and other internal departments
Demonstrate consistency in work produced regardless of project size
Utilize critical thinking, branding, and communication skills during strategy sessions to ensure thorough understanding of the project’s approved strategy and how to best execute design materials that meet those needs
Other duties may be assigned at any time

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in creative field is highly preferred, but open to combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree
2-5 years experience in the creative industry
Proficiency with the leading design software packages including but not limited to: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Google Slides/PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications.
Video creating and editing knowledge is a plus

Other Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Motivation to maintain and improve design standards and a determination to achieve and succeed
Strong organizational skills
