Operations Associate

Position Overview: The Operations Associate will support the leadership team in a variety of projects and strategic initiatives across the organization. Through best-in-class organizational and process optimization skills they will be integral in getting new projects off the ground and shepherding them to the finish line while getting exposure to all functional departments of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones for strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate resources, team members, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, meeting notes, and action items.
- Provide detailed reports on project progress, outcomes, and impact to leadership.
- Ensure all project-related documents comply with organizational standards and are easily accessible.
Support for Strategic Initiatives:
- Assist in the implementation of new strategic projects, programs, or initiatives that impact internal operations.
- Track the progress of operational initiatives, providing feedback and support for successful execution.
- Support leadership in identifying opportunities for growth and improvement within operational processes.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze and streamline internal processes to improve efficiency and productivity across departments.
- Identify areas for improvement in workflows, recommending and implementing process enhancements.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to senior management and internal teams, including scheduling meetings, collecting topics to discuss and preparing agendas, and handling correspondence.
- Maintain organization and assist with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Manage internal communications, including memos, announcements, and updates for the team.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in operations, management consulting, project management, or a related field.
- Experience in corporate environments or cross-functional team coordination is preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a focus on efficiency.
Skills and Characteristics:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze operational data and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.
- Project Management: Basic knowledge of project management principles and tools
- Process Improvement: Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and the ability to contribute to operational enhancements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required and operational software/tools (ERP systems, CRM, etc.) a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and management.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying issues and developing practical solutions in a timely manner.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in performing tasks and managing data.
