Job Description:

As a Golf Course Maintenance Worker at Harbor Lakes, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Mowing fairways, greens, and rough areas to ensure a consistently manicured appearance.

2. Trimming and edging around bunkers, tee boxes, and water hazards.

3. Operating and maintaining various golf course maintenance equipment such as mowers, tractors, and hand tools.

4. Assisting in the upkeep of the irrigation system, ensuring proper watering of the course.

5. Raking and maintaining sand traps.

6. Planting, fertilizing, and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers throughout the course.

7. Assisting in special projects, such as course renovations or landscaping enhancements.

8. Following safety procedures and guidelines while working with chemicals, equipment, and machinery.

9. Collaborating with the golf course superintendent and team to achieve course maintenance goals.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is a plus but not required.

2. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

3. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining golf course aesthetics.

4. Basic knowledge of golf course equipment and machinery is advantageous.

5. Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

6. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor.

7. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
