Resort Golf Course Opportunity:
Exclusive Golf and Marina Resort looking to add position for Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Harbor Links Golf Club, located at Kent’s Harbor and the Sagamore Resort on Brookville Lake, in southeast Indiana.
Position assists superintendent in all aspects of managing and maintaining golf facilities including mowing, irrigation, turf conditioning, equipment maintenance, and assisting in golf pro shop.
Reports To: Course Superintendent and General Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in carrying out daily operations related to maintaining course readiness for play.
· Maintaining turf irrigation systems.
· Assisting with personnel management.
· Assisting with routine equipment and carts repair and maintenance.
· Interacting with customers.
· Assisting in retail golf pro shop.
· Assist in carrying out scheduled seasonal projects and procedures including grounds aeration and facility repairs.
· Other assigned duties.
Education, Aptitudes and Training:
· The candidate may, or may not have specific golf related education or training.
· Preferred education to include high school diploma and additional work experience or training that may benefit candidate’s future performance.
· An appreciation for the outdoors: Resort is located within 17,000 acre recreation area.
· An aptitude for working with equipment.
· Experience in working with the public.
· Willingness to learn new skills.
Language and Reasoning Skills:
· Must be able to follow detailed instructions.
· Must be able to communicate clearly.
· Must be able to exercise judgement, based on acquired job knowledge, to make appropriate task related decisions.
· Must be comfortable performing routine assignments when unaccompanied by others.
Job Type:
· Full Time Position. Opportunity for overtime.
· Hours: Seasonal weeks may exceed 40 hours. Off season hours, 40. Flexible.
· Candidate shares in weekend shift participation.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
