Opportunity Details

Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking a PRN and / or weekend coverage Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for our Residential Treatment facility. Join our team and contribute to a supportive and caring environment where professional and personal growth opportunities abound.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct admission evaluations, medication management, and direct patient care.
  • Manage a caseload primarily focused on children and adolescents aged 5-17 with diverse psychiatric treatment issues.

Qualifications :

  • MD / DO degree from an accredited program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Child Psychiatry.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia or eligibility to obtain a VA medical license.
  • Minimum of 4 years of practice / training experience.
  • Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.

    • Compensation :

  • Competitive salary and benefits for part-time hours.
  • Options for contract work, including competitive hourly rates or fee-for-service.

    • Education, Training & Experience :

  • MD / DO degree from an accredited program required.
  • Board certified or Board Eligible in C / A Psychiatry.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia or the ability to obtain a VA medical license.
  • Minimum of 4 years of practice / training experience.
  • Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
