Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center is actively recruiting a full-time Staff Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for our Residential Treatment facility in Portsmouth, Virginia. The role involves admission evaluations, treatment planning, and direct patient care, primarily focused on children and adolescents aged 5-17 with diverse psychiatric treatment issues.
Our physicians work in a supportive and collegial environment, collaborating with other physicians, clinical staff, and administration, providing ample opportunities for professional and personal growth. The caseload and call responsibilities are manageable, making this a fulfilling full-time position available for either contract work or competitive salary and benefits.

Education, Training & Experience Requirements:- MD/DO degree from an accredited program- Board certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry- Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia or ability to obtain a VA medical license- Minimum of 4 years of practice/training experience- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
