What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Experience Agent (Seasonal) position at HARBOR VIEW HOTEL?
Summary:
The knowledge of a great Guest Experience Agent is the expectation of our Guests when staying at The Harbor View Hotel. Your ability to anticipate Guests' needs and make informed suggestions will ensure they have a truly memorable stay.
Essential Job Functions and Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
- Provide the following information to guests: Local areas (e.g. social, cultural, attractions), location and hours of operation, all hotel facilities (e.g. the hours of operation, location, daily and weekly events), local area's restaurants and theater/musical productions, airline, automobile rental, transportation directions, personal services.
- Assist with any plans or arrangements the guest intends to make during their stay
- Assist guests with mail, messages, and any plans or arrangements they require
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications Required:
- Must have exceptional guest service skills with a willingness to exceed expectations
- Work in a positive and professional matter with little direction or supervision
- Flexible, self-motivated positive attitude
- Current or prior residency on Martha's Vineyard
Qualifications Desired:
- Work in a positive and professional matter with little direction or supervision
- Prior Hospitality experience preferably in a Concierge position.
- Flexible, self-motivated positive attitude
- Strong knowledge of Martha's Vineyard
This is a seasonal position seasonal May 15th to September 25th, 2025.
