The Sales Support position assists the Director of Customer Service and supports sales team efforts to ensure company’s business strategy is executed. This position maintains a high number of reporting metrics to ensure company goals are being met. This role requires a dynamic and organized individual who can work across departments and interpret and develop team needs and execute cohesive plans. This position is hybrid eligible after training within reasonable commute to Lacey or Kent, WA offices, and Modesto, CA offices.
Compensation $25-29/hourly

Essential Job Functions:
- Create and communicate reporting and metrics to team; including but not limited to, customer performance reports, commission reports, sales reports, weekly A/R summary, various customer reporting, team contests and initiative analysis.
- Tracking and data management for retail foodservice department.
- Vendor coordination for promotions.
- Onboarding new deli and program processes for Harbor retail foodservice programs.
- Competitive data coordination.
- Monthly sales team spiff processing and communication.
- Maintain and administer Motus mileage reimbursement program.
- Support Sales & Pricing Analyst as needed to ensure accurate customer account setup.
- Will work with sales teams to support customers and team members, such as producing reporting for sales teams to provide to customers as needed.
- Responsible for creating and processing customer rebates.
- Assist with coordinating main sales meetings and respective scheduling and deadlines.
- Assist with executing/communicating sales team/vendor marketing events and meetings such as regional and main sales meetings.
- Shares responsibility in ensuring cig promo ship lists are entered/fulfilled and compliance met.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Customer Service.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings and interact with all levels within the organization.
- Passionate and enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
- Strength in all Microsoft Office products including; PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Email strategies.
- Must be able to integrate numerous interruptions and be available to jump in if needed for absence, service issues and additional spot training needs.
- Attendance at company events and meetings that are required from time to time offsite.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Business or related degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strength in all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel at the intermediate level and email strategies with outstanding and polished communication across multiple departments, vendors, and customers.
- Experience in a sales and/or marketing support position preferred in a high-volume customer environment; CPG or related food industry will be preferred.
