Slotting Specialist
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Full time full benefits

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00AM until completion
General Summary:
The slotting specialist primary purpose is to slot new items, and perform item maintenance (discontinue, item setup, requested moves, adjust min/max and holding power) for maximum operational efficiencies and safety.

Essential Job Functions:
- Use of Warehouse Management System.
- Determine item slotting for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate and carry out the physical movements of product.
- Works closely with Management, Purchasing, IC and Receiving.
- Gather data from multiple sources for item move sets.
- Monitor substitute items and limited time offer (LTOs) for food service accounts.
- Monitor balance within pick departments and sections.
- Maintain, use, and manage slotting software project workbooks.
- Monitor non-stock location availability.
- Gather feedback from the leadership team and address issues in a timely manner.
- Other tasks as needed for vacation coverage.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
- Prompt email responsiveness and communication.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Strong communication skill verbal and written
- Strong analytical skill
- Must be self-motivated
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to ever changing, high volume distribution center while working in cross functional team environment
- Ability to successfully manage concurrent projects, multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years’ experience in a Distribution Center environment preferably with experience in slotting, inventory control, or related warehouse operations.
