What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Internship - Supply Chain Data Specialist position at Harbor Wholesale Grocery Inc?
General Summary
The Supply Chain Data Internship will focus on areas in data management setup inclusive of auditing, and validation of product (SKU) verification and movement through Harbors infrastructure consisting of organizations of items, vendors, and customer data into respective ERP and Master Data Management Tools. This position requires outstanding attention to detail with ability to move fluidly between item images and descriptions, and ability to understand deviant and/or anomalies in data patterns and structures and statistics. This internship will require outstanding communication skills across other departments such as Item & Pricing Analysis, Logistics, Data Management, and others. Harbor interns will have the opportunity to observe and/or gain exposure with the daily workflow of other departments providing a larger picture of business lines at Harbor. Internships run 8-12 weeks during the summer season for college students and are customized to student's summer start/end dates.
Schedule: Monday-Friday standard business hours up to 40 hrs per week, full-time onsite at Harbor's corporate offices in Lacey, WA
Pay: $20/hr

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- General data entry and keying.
- Outstanding attention to detail
- General knowledge of data setup
- Ability to multi-task and respond to a high volume, entrepreneurial environment.
- Research detail; passion for learning and understanding supply chain concepts.
Education and Experience: Please note that this is the minimum needed.
- College academic standing sophomore or higher preferred
- Coursework with heavy emphasis on statistics, supply chain, mathematics, and business administration in a complex product environment, such as entering or completing 200 level coursework.
- Minimum one (1) year general business experience either internship or outside academic employment
- MS Office at a proficient level with focus on technical content, Intermediate Excel, and data entry.
