Harbor is seeking a BCBA to join the Port Sylvania ABA Clinic! This individual will assume clinical responsibility for ongoing treatment of clients utilizing behavior treatment theory and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Position is full-time, 40-hours per week.
Education/Experience/Other Requirements
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) required
- BCBA or BCBA-D credential/licensure required
- Must receive COBA credential/licensure within 8 months of employment
- Additional license preferred (i.e., LSW, LPC, LPCC, LISW)
- Must be proficient and accurate in computer use, including Microsoft Word.
- CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI Certifications required within 90 days of employment.
- In providing billable services, fulfills or exceeds unit expectations established by Harbor.
- Maintains clinical responsibility for individual, family and/or group services of clients.
- Provides supervision of staff upon expectation of supervisor, including supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians where appropriate.
- Works with more complex cases, which may require more complex assessments for special populations.
- May administer psychological tests under the supervision of a licensed psychologist consistent with training and competence
- Demonstrates satisfactory performance on identified outcome measures and client satisfaction reports.
- Demonstrates satisfactory performance on required Peer/Clinical Record Reviews and in the timely and accurate completion of Peer/Clinical Records Reviews for other staff.
- Provides effective and efficient management of caseload.
- Participates in peer consultations, staff meetings, and continuing education.
- Facilitates referrals to appropriate internal and/or external resources where indicated.
- Participates in program development as requested and where possible.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, based on client need.
- Keeps current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies, and demonstrates continued growth.
