Responsibilities of Activities Assistants:
- Assist in activities with the residents.
- Play a vital role in our residents' well-being by planning and promoting recreation-based activities that stimulate the mind and body and promote social interaction.
- Provide input into the design of monthly recreation services.
- Document resident attendance and participation level at recreation programs.
- Write progress notes.
- Attend care plan meetings as appropriate.
Qualifications for Activities Assistants:
- High school graduate or GED
- Pleasant and outgoing individual.
- Must be flexible and able to multitask
- Past long term care experience helpful
- Must work every other weekend
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Able to work as a team
