Harbour Dental Care is looking to add a Hygienist in our brand new office on in Palatka. Looking for someone who is PRODUCTION driven and looking to build their business. The compensation is hourly plus a % of production profit monthly.

Job Overview for Dental Hygienist:
- Reviewing patient’s dental and medical history and documenting blood pressure
- Taking radiographs for doctor diagnosis and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
- Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
- Educate and customize care to meet the patient's oral health status. Guide patients through the pathway to health
- Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques
- Perform preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services and procedures including but not limited to: dental prophylaxis, scaling in presence of gingivitis, scaling and root planning, fluoride varnish applications and dental pit and fissure sealants
- Update and maintain dental records
- Ensuring all equipment and instruments are disinfected and sterilized by OSHA standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed
- Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
- Daily management of office Atmosphere
- Can have some travel to other offices for coverage associated with this position
Required
- Education/Certification: Current Dental Hygiene license for Florida
- Certification to administer local anesthesia.
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection Control training as required by law
Preferred
- 1 yr of experience in Dental Hygiene
- Denticon experience
- Dexis digital x ray experience
- Sirona 3D CT imaging experience
- CEREC Omnicam scanning experience
- Zoom in office whitening experience
