This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.

The senior business analyst will support our firm's enterprise-wide AI technologies adoption, and functions as a major contributor to the AI backlog management and use cases implementation.

Hired staff will partner with firm-wide Business Leads to analyze AI requests, collaborate with AI and Data technology teams to develop high business value solutions, tapping into capabilities within our ecosystem and considering newer features.

The staff will ensure improved user experience along with an ethical and responsible adoption by aligning to the established policies and governance model.

The ideal candidate is someone who has:

• Proficiency working on different AI technologies, ideally in an investment management setting
• Familiarity with M365 copilot/Studio, MS PowerApps, frontier models, prompt engineering and data analytical tools
• Expertise in analyzing and translating business requirements and associated data, into actionable technology solutions
• Effective communication and collaborative skills throughout the solution development life cycle, from intake to design, build, test, release and support
• Agile methodology experience to deliver business value iteratively and ongoing
• High energy and team-oriented style; flexibility and motivation to tackle a broad range of analytical, software-testing assignments and administrative assistance as needed
• Track record and skills shown on high-intensity, high-complexity projects
• Confidence and credibility interacting with business users at all levels
  
  

What you will do:

• Lead AI use case inventory/backlog management and coordinate on the intake process for firm-wide requests
• Lead the requirements analysis and mapping of the business needs patterns to best-fit AI capabilities on different technology platforms
• Identify needs for enhancements to current and newer custom AI models/solutions to achieve specific objectives and optimize processes and to continually mature HarbourVest AI Platform
• Work closely with teams across the board on prototypes, return on investment and data quality assessment, testing, rollouts and support of AI solutions
• Apply established AI principles, methodologies and governance toward a Responsible AI adoption
• Assist with administrative, documentation and project management activities to support leadership and team on platforms and project deliveries
• Ongoing learning to sharpen technical and business skills via trainings and certifications
  
  

Education Preferred

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or Science (B.S), or equivalent experience
  
  

Experience

• 7 years of relevant experience, in Financial Services, with 2 years on AI Technologies focus is preferred
