- History of coordinating with complex teams and processes
- Experience defining and maintaining oversight for Data & Reporting strategies
- Experience leading data conversion and cleanup strategies is required
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is required
- Experience with Workday Financials is preferred
- Experience with Workday Adaptive, Prism, and Extend is a plus
- Craft the strategy for data domain(s) and supervise the effective management of data within those domain(s)
- Provide strategic thought leadership around data & analytics for business areas to support operations, strategic objectives, and analytics
- Lead the identification of critical data governance issues, including determining critical data elements and effective data quality rules
- Communicate data governance choices that influence how data assets are used with executive partners and downstream consumers across the firm
- Complete departmental and firm-wide data strategy by collaborating with other partners within the organization
- Participate in all relevant domain and firm-wide data councils
- Lead business projects for implementing Workday Financials, determining the system of entry and record for data
- Maintain ongoing data ownership of Corporate Finance data, including defining all in-scope data elements and determining critical data elements
- Develop, monitor, and continuously improve data quality rules for Corporate Finance data to ensure internal standards support all consumers
- Act as an expert in HarbourVest Accounting data and related applications, understanding data lineage for assessing impacts of structural or system changes
- Partner with internal technology and operational teams on any people, process, or technology opportunities related to HarbourVest Accounting data
