Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan, oversee, and coordinate a construction project from start to finish, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills and have a thorough understanding of construction processes and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects, including bidding, contract management, scheduling, and resources.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary.
- Coordinate and manage on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project operations.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for potential project delays or challenges.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to building codes, permits, regulations, and safety standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, addressing concerns, updates, and feedback.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with large-scale or complex projects; or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (PMP certification is a plus).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and familiarity with budgeting software and tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Work Boots, Hard Hat and Safety Vest Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
