POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Manager – Risk & Safety, the incumbent is responsible for administrative tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Assists in all administrative and business-related matters to ensure a smooth and profitable departmental process.
- Responsible for the support services of the Security and Valet Department.
- Responsible for administrative tasks
- Function as the point person for answering a wide variety of team member inquiries regarding general departmental policy & information.
- Establishes, maintains and, when necessary, revises department filing system.
- Purchases supplies and other items needed by department and submits for payment and follows up on current and outstanding invoices.
- Performs all duties in a confidential manner.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating all contracts related to security operations.
- Responsible for maintaining and reviewing vendor/visitor logs.
- Preparing property eviction files for unwanted guests.
- Responsible for preparing monthly property security statistics.
- Maintaining and logging Lost & Found items.
- Processes Lost & Found items pursuant to policy.
- Completes payroll functions including verification and pay discrepancies.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Attend seminars when needed.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
- Strong understanding of the gaming industry and the Hard Rock brand.
ABILITY TO:
- Calculate figures and create and manipulate spreadsheets to produce reports.
- Write reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situation.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
High School diploma or equivalent required along with five (5) or more years of similar experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be highly proficient in MS Office software to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in Virtual Roster program and automated payroll systems such as Kronos strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in the Gaming industry desired, but not required.
Salary : $16 - $22
