Hard Rock Construction is looking for a skilled and dependable Mechanic to service and repair a fleet of heavy-duty machinery and dump trucks. If you’re experienced in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing construction equipment and want to work for a company that values quality and teamwork, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment and dump trucks
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service to minimize downtime
- Diagnose engine, brake, suspension, and transmission issues
- Document repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and equipment operators to prioritize repairs
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with heavy equipment and dump trucks (CAT, Peterbuilt, Mack, Western Star, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
- Certifications (such as ASE or OEM-specific) are preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Stand, bend, crouch, and climb in and around large equipment
Work Hours:
50 hrs a week
6:30AM - 5PM
Monday - Friday
