What’s the position?
Reporting to the Director of Privacy, as a Data Protection Analyst, you’ll help expand Hard Rock Digital's business across multiple jurisdictions. Working with other team members and the product, marketing, commercial, operations, legal, data, and regulatory teams, you will combine your knowledge of privacy compliance and the online gaming industry to enable the future growth and direction of the business.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Providing timely and accurate information to Senior Analysts and the Director of Privacy.
Satisfying internal and external reporting requirements.
Creating and reviewing Data Processing Agreements and Data Sharing Agreements.
Creating and reviewing Data Protection Impact Assessments
Creating and reviewing compliant international transfer mechanisms for Personal Data.
Generating incident reports and investigating inquiries or requests from regulators, customers, and staff.
Supporting the Senior Analysts and Director of Privacy as they represent the company before Supervisory Authorities, gaming regulators, auditors, external agencies, and suppliers.
Working closely with the wider business, providing guidance and analysis on compliance with the Privacy Framework within Hard Rock Digital.
Ensuring that all personal data processing by Hard Rock Digital is compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
Implementing privacy and data protection compliance policies and procedures as part of our Privacy Framework.
Working to workflow and automate departmental processes.
Continually monitor developments in relevant law, caselaw, and other supplementary guidance to improve your knowledge and make recommendations to ensure compliance.
Performing assurance monitoring and auditing of business policy and internal controls.
Maintaining up-to-date process documentation and procedures.
Maintaining up-to-date Data Maps and Records of Processing for the business.
Collaboration with other departments to ensure that compliance is integrated into business decisions and nurturing a living and breathing culture of compliance.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Privacy and Data Protection Analyst to assist with international privacy compliance requirements, and to assist with the establishment of our Privacy Framework.
You will be helping to ensure our organisation complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with all departments to provide required reporting, develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, conduct compliance audits, and assist with staff training requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree, or professional certifications in a related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in privacy, data protection, or other compliance related roles.
Experience in a range of regulatory environments and jurisdictions.
Sound professional knowledge of the foundational principles of privacy and data protection.
Knowledge and understanding of international privacy laws.
Experience creating Data Processing Agreements and Data Sharing Agreements.
Experience with international transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Experience conducting audits and reporting on results.
A firm grasp of information technology and basic computer networking.
Organisational skills to prioritise multiple tasks effectively and escalate where appropriate.
Skilled at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams on multiple tasks.
Excellent communications skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferable to have language skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
