What’s the position?
We are looking for a Rock Star Director, Paid Social to lead our paid social advertising efforts within the real money online gaming space. In this leadership role, you will lead a team of paid social experts and help develop and execute data-driven paid social media campaigns to drive new player acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across the paid social ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development :
Develop and implement a comprehensive paid social strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on player acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Identify emerging trends, technologies, and platforms in social media advertising to keep campaigns innovative and competitive.
Campaign Management :
Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube, and emerging channels.
Collaborate with creative teams to ensure ads are engaging, on-brand, and tailored to the online gaming audience.
Analytics & Optimization :
Analyze campaign performance using key metrics (e.g., CPI, ROAS, LTV) and make data-driven decisions to maximize ROI.
Implement A / B testing strategies to continuously improve ad performance and audience targeting.
Team Leadership :
Build and mentor a team of paid social experts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, analytics, and game developers, to align paid social efforts with broader marketing goals.
Budget Management :
Manage the paid social budget in conjunction with business leads, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve performance goals for both casino and sportsbook vertices.
Provide regular reporting on campaign spend, performance, and opportunities for scaling.
What are we looking for?
7 years of experience in paid social advertising, and at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Preferred candidate will have experience managing paid social campaigns in the RMG (Real Money Gaming) or social casino industry.
Working across other sensitive categories, where targeting can be limited by publisher rules, is also a benefit.
Technical Skills :
Expertise in running app acquisition campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snap and Reddit Ads UI with a focus on CPAs balanced by ROAs optimizations.
Driving positive ROAs while navigating SKAN limitations across paid channels.
Proficiency in audience segmentation and integration of social platform UIs with MMP or data warehouse platforms; with preference given to Apps Flyer, Amplitude, and Snowflake.
Strong technical background of being able to build audiences and sync them with above tools to paid social UIs.
Soft Skills :
Excellent leadership, which includes being able to lead and train a team of social media professionals, focusing on but not limited to :
Day to day optimizations
Ongoing growth and development on best practices and staying cutting edge of the ever evolving app acquisition landscape including updates to SKAN
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Passion for gaming and understanding of player motivations and behaviors.
