What’s the position?

As the Senior Manager of Sportsbook Engagement, you will lead the promotional pricing strategy for our sportsbook product - focusing on driving engagement, revenue, and customer loyalty. You will develop, optimize, and execute a strategic plan to deliver compelling promotions, odds boosts, and special offers to our customers. Working with cross-functional teams and managing a team responsible for the execution of all pricing led promotions, you will grow and retain our active customer base and maximize engagement.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong operational mindset, with excellent analytical and presentation skills, combined with a deep understanding of the sports betting landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of pricing and concession led promotions to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Real time engagement coordination
• Analyze customer behavior and trends to identify opportunities for targeted promotions and concessions.
• Collaborate with product, data analytics, and CRM teams to ensure alignment of promotions with business goals and customer preferences.
• Manage a team of engagement specialists responsible for the end-to-end execution of campaigns, including boosts, bonus bets, and other customer offers.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Set and monitor KPIs for the team, ensuring efficient, high-quality execution of all engagement initiatives.
• Oversee the ideation, planning, costing, implementation, and evaluation of sportsbook promotions.
• Work closely with CRM and product marketing teams to integrate promotions within the customer journey, optimizing timing, messaging, and segmentation.
• Use data-driven insights to continuously improve promotion effectiveness, iterating strategies based on customer response, industry trends, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with sports content and social media teams to amplify promotional efforts and drive additional engagement.
• Deliver continuous insight on performance, analyzing key metrics such as engagement rates, conversion, and ROI.
• Use advanced analytics and customer segmentation to measure the impact of different promotional tactics, making data-driven optimization.
• Be the subject matter expert on industry trends and competitive landscape, adapting strategies to be the best team in this space.

What are we looking for?

• Strong understanding of sportsbook products, customer lifecycle, and promotional tactics to drive engagement.
• Proficient in data analytics and customer segmentation with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Knowledge of customer retention and loyalty programs specific to the sports betting industry.
• An avid sports fan with a keen knowledge of the sports betting landscape.
• A deep empathy with the customer. You must understand their experience, their ups and downs and what it is to be a sports bettor.
