Overview
Under the direction of the Manager and LEAD Carpenter the incumbent adjusts, repairs, builds and maintains all furniture and wood products throughout the property.
Responsibilities
- Performs all preventive maintenance on all wood products and furniture.
- Builds shelving and cabinets, temporary structures, repairs furniture.
- Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
- Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, metal, and wall board in accordance with applicable building codes, oral instructions or specifications.
- Promotes positive public / employee relations at all times.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Performs all other related and compatible / non-compatible duties as assigned.
