Job Summary
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers, serving food and beverages according to Hard Rock standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Sacramento at Fire Mountain for gaming entertainment, building and retaining guest relations, and mentoring team members to provide superior guest service.
- Recognizes guests immediately with a friendly greeting, informs them of daily specials, and acts as an information center representative by providing information on all aspects of Hard Rock services and facilities.
- Assists guests with menu and beverage selection, demonstrating salesmanship with complete menu and product knowledge.
- Ensures guest satisfaction through food quality checks and responsiveness to guest complaints.
- Maintains a well-groomed, neat, and clean appearance, carrying out duties with attention to sanitation and safety.
- Anticipates, identifies, and provides for guest needs.
- Performs inventories and other duties as assigned.
- Performs tableside cooking, salad entries, desserts, and presentations, opens and pours wines.
- Attends and participates in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
- Performs work regularly and predictably.
- Assists with other duties at special events or parties and assists where necessary, including carving, cooking, setup, and teardown stations or work areas or other duties as assigned.
- Cleans and distributes ash trays.
- Cleans and sanitizes work and public spaces.
Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and ERGC Gaming regulations.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
- Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Table service procedures and table etiquette.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
Additional Details
The Tribal Council gives first preference in all of its employment practices to members of the Enterprise Rancheria Tribe who meet the job requirements.
