Overview
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Slot Technician I is responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of slot machines, with infrequent assistance; possesses extensive knowledge of both mechanical and electronic aspects of slot machine repair; provides training or assistance to lesser experienced technicians.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

- The Slot Technician I will analyze and respond to a variety of customer service-related issues.
- Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of component level electronic circuitry in gaming devices.
- Responsible for the installation and removal of gaming devices.
- Day to day preventative maintenance; troubleshoots ticket-in ticket-out and coin machines; performs hopper tests; clears coin jams and bill validator jams.
- Assists in game conversions and firmware upgrades.
- Investigates and verifies any ticket issues.
- Maintains inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
- Maintains and calibrates currency validators, executes machine moves, game conversions, installations, and floor upgrade of current ticket-in ticket out products.
- Responsible to investigate device malfunctions of various gaming devices and clears coin bill and coin jams.
- Performs the day to day repair and preventative maintenance of all slot machines.
- Perform work regularly, predictably and in a professional manner.
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Perform work regularly and adheres to all Indiana Gaming Regulations.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must have good communications skills. Must have basic computer skills. Must have electronic background or minimum two-year experience in slot operations. Must have two (2) or more years’ experience in the Gaming Industry or an equivalent customer service environment.
