What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Truck / Heavy Equipment Mechanic position at Hard Rock Materials, Inc.?
Hard Rock Materials, Inc., with plants located throughout NE Florida, is in search of a seasoned TOP-NOTCH diesel mechanic for our Green Cove Springs, FL location.

JOB DUTIES:
Perform scheduled maintenance & repairs to heavy equipment and diesel trucks.
- Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing any defective parts
- Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work
- Diagnosing malfunctions or problems using a computerized system or testing equipment to determine the root cause of any issues
- Working with machinery such concrete mixers, tractor trailers, and loaders
Overall knowledge of heavy equipment diesel repair and maintenance.
- Need at least 5 years heavy equipment and truck maintenance/repair experience.
- Capability of lifting heavy parts and climbing trucks and equipment.
- Must be trustworthy and able to work independently with minimal instruction.
- Must be proficient in diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
