Yard Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Supervisor of a Scrap Yard located in Sikeston, MO. Relocation may be available. The ideal candidate will possess broad knowledge of the Scrap Recycling industry, including being familiar with health and safety management, accounting, industrial relations, and management procedures and techniques. As a Location Manager, you will be responsible for running the scrap year as well as purchasing scrap.

Responsibilities

· Direct and coordinate scrap productions to ensure a scrap product that is high quality as well as a low cost.

· Responsible for Labor Relations and personnel policy at the location.

• Develop and implement strategies for third party sales to generate cash and savings to the Steel Mills.
• Overall responsibility of the locations costs including spending and budget development.
• Responsible for continuous improvement and long term planning.

Qualifications

Educations & Certifications:

· BS Business Administration

Experience

· 5-7 years experience including significant exposure to scrap production, scrap processing, and delivery

· Working background in supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
