As an Estimator to our client, your primary role is to generate accurate and competitive job estimates for single and multi-phase site development projects, overseeing them through completion. This pivotal position is integral to our Estimating Job Family, encompassing responsibilities in business development and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze plans and existing conditions to determine resource quantities needed for project completion.
- Engage third-party providers when necessary, assessing service quality and negotiating pricing.
- Utilize internal cost data to formulate pricing structures aligned with project phases and customer relationships.
- Compile comprehensive job costs and ensure all documentation meets bid requirements.
- Monitor project progress, collaborating with Field Management to control costs and identify additional work requirements.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships to enhance visibility and reputation.
- Provide guidance to junior staff as required.
Requirements:
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in estimating software.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of site development scheduling and management.
- Ability to lead or advise junior staff.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with four years of construction estimating experience.
