Child Welfare Caseworkers promote child safety, strengthen family life and assist parents in meeting their responsibilities to their children. Working with families to develop and implement strategies to help them protect their children from harm requires intelligence, maturity, persuasiveness, and quite often a sense of humor.
Applicants should possess a strong work ethic, be driven and energetic to manage a complex caseload in a fast-paced environment. We search for people with an ability to balance being independent decision-makers and members of a team.
Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following or related fields: public administration, human services, psychology, criminology, human resources, behavioral or social science, education or social work is preferred.
