SUMMARY / SCOPE :

The SLP Graduate Programinvites qualified individuals to apply for the Adjunct instructor pool. The adjunct teaching positions are for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025. Coursesvary from semester to semester depending on the department teachingneeds.

Forqualified instructors there is an option for online teaching.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

The anticipated courses for theAdjunct Instructor to teach include but are not limited to :

SLP 6352 Phonological Disorders - Spring 2025

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

Qualified candidates must have a doctorate in speech-language pathology or related field (Ph.D. or Ed.D.)

Previous teaching experiencepreferred - 5 or more years as a practicing speech-language pathologist

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :

Licensed to Practice Speech-LanguagePathology or Audiology in the United States.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Thejob is sedentary in nature. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods oftime while performing office and computer operations.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

Thisposition is a part-time / temp adjunct position (no more than 29 hours per week)with teaching load at the Hardin-Simmons University campus.

Mustbe a resident of the state of Texas or be licensed to practice as aspeech-language pathologist in the state of Texas.
