The Dean of our Elementary School plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive and effective learning environment by supporting students, faculty, and the school community. This leadership position is centered on ensuring academic and behavioral success through data-driven decision-making and collaborative problem-solving. Many faculty members enjoy investing in their students and the community by mentoring, coaching, advising a school club or activity, participating in curriculum development, professional learning, and school committees. Student Support and Intervention

• Implement and oversee intervention strategies for students requiring academic or behavioral support.
• Directly provide interventions and supports to students.
• Coach teachers about effective implementation of intervention strategies.

Faculty Coaching and Support

• Provide instructional coaching to teachers, ensuring alignment with our Teacher Performance Review framework, to promote effective use of learning environment and learning experiences.
• Lead professional development sessions focused on data-informed instruction and student engagement.
• Serve as a resource for faculty by offering guidance on best practices and facilitating collaboration.

Data-Driven Decision Making

• Analyze student performance, behavior, and attendance data to identify trends and inform strategies.
• Work collaboratively with the principal and leadership team to set measurable goals and track progress.
• Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and programs, making adjustments as needed to maximize impact. .
