BAKERY MANAGER

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bakery Manager to oversee our bakery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of baked goods while managing a team of skilled bakers and staff. This role requires a strong understanding of food management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bakery operations, including production scheduling and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
• Train, develop, and supervise bakery staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the bakery area to promote a safe working environment.
• Monitor product quality and customer satisfaction, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assist in managing special events such as banquets or catering orders as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in food management within a bakery or similar setting.
• Strong baking skills with experience making bread and frying donuts.
• Proficient in training development to enhance team performance and skillsets.
• Excellent cash handling abilities with attention to detail in financial transactions.
• Effective shift management skills to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while leading by example.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
