What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Supervisor position at Hardy Diagnostics?

The Marketing Supervisor assists the Marketing Manager in overseeing and assisting in the basic functions of operating the office. The Marketing Supervisor is tasked with supplementing and enforcing the expectations placed on the Marketing Department. This includes team leadership, informing staff of ongoing projects and events and instructing staff of any applicable tasks and policies. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assists Marketing Manager with general department operations.
- Manages all vendor relationships. Ensures Company receives the best pricing on all purchases.
- Assists with staff training, responds to requests for assistance.
- Coordinates incoming tasks and work requests; informs Marketing Manager.
- Assigns and delegates work, as needed.
- Coordinates projects/campaigns to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinates information and tasks to ensure all staff stay properly informed of expectations or change.
- Monitors daily performance of employees and corrects, praises and/or notifies Marketing Manager, as needed.
- Monitors workflows and employee workloads, informs Marketing Manager in an effort to effectively coordinate department activity.
- Acts as a support conduit for marketing staff between other departments to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Assists in focusing team to meet department strategic goals.
- Contributes to bi-annual employee evaluations for marketing department members.
- Coordinates department meetings.
- Maintains a high-functioning, distraction free work environment.
- Functional back-up to Marketing Administrator and Marketing Coordinator.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Computer and software literacy required. Must have knowledge of standard business functionality, office environments, sales tactics, marketing tactics, marketing software and marketing terms. Previous leadership experience desired, but not required. Previous project management experience desired, but not required. Must be able and willing to learn and utilize applications to meet the needs of the Company.
