What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transfer Clerk position at Hardy Diagnostics?
We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Transfer Clerk at our headquarters in Santa Maria, CA (Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm). The Transfer Clerk assists in the coordination of the weekly transfer and supplemental shipments that supply our remote distribution centers. Job duties include; but, are not limited to:
- Assists in making sure all transfer and supplemental shipments are prepared and ready to ship by their required times.
- Assists in making sure each bill of lading is filled out properly and on time for each transfer.
- Coordinates palletizing supply orders of the remote distribution centers..
- Coordinates the temperature data logger process and examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
Must be able to regularly lift/or move 50-80 lbs and occasionally 150 lbs. Required to stand for the entire shift and work from a ladder. A high school diploma or GED is required. Computer literacy and spreadsheet software desired.
