| Job Description | The purpose of this position is to provide distribution support services for the College. This is accomplished by purchasing all warehouse items, delivering mail to authorized USPS and other facilities; distributing mail to buildings on and off campus; receiving and shipping packages; providing correct postage for mail; reconciling received products with purchase orders; ordering and maintaining warehouse supplies; operating a fork lift; preparing postings of accounts; assigning fixed asset tags; completing financial and accounting reports; and maintaining/rotating inventory. Other duties include organizing the storage warehouse; palletize, inventory, and load out surplus equipment for sale; coordinating pickups and deliveries; maintaining health machines on campus; and monitoring warehouse orders in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.
