HIS3183 Temporary Domestic Cleaner - Staythorpe Power Station

CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary (2 months starting 25th March 2025)

SALARY: £11.64 per hour

CLOSING DATE: 20th March 2025

A vacancy has arisen for a Temporary Domestic Cleaner to join our team based at Staythorpe Power Station. The role will commence 25th March 2025, for two months and will cover days Monday – Friday.

Hargreaves Industrial Services provide a facility service to our client at Staythorpe Power Station. We provide both industrial and office cleaning as well as waste and pest control and also cover the internal stores.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -

• Assisting in maintaining high standards of domestic cleanliness, hygiene and safety of offices, kitchens, cabins, welfare areas, toilets, shower facilities and any other areas as requested by the client
• Attend to customer complaints in a courteous and prompt manner.
• Check all areas responsible for are left clean, safe and secure when leaving the premises and ensure all equipment and store cupboards are clean and tidy and meet COSHH requirements.
• Promote and adhere to good safety habits, risk assessments and methods of work
• Ensure that personal protective clothing is always used where necessary and kept to the agreed standard.
• Report all accidents and near misses to site contact and line manager and ensure appropriate records are made by completing the required paperwork.
• Ensure wet floor and other relevant cleaning signs are used appropriately.
• Attend any meetings or training sessions as required.
• Any other related duties as requested by the Manager or client.
  
  

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:-

• Experience in a similar role beneficial
• Knowledge of COSHH
• Experience in using professional cleaning equipment and chemicals an advantage but training will be available.
• Positive attitude to safety and a flexible approach to work
• Committed to high level of customer service.
• Comply with all site golden rules, safety instructions and procedures.
