We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Electrical Engineering Consultant to join our team at Hargrove Engineers and Constructors. As an Electrical Engineering Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on electrical engineering matters, including design, development, and implementation of electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and 5 years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering. You will be familiar with specifications and installation details of construction bulk materials and equipment, as well as able to perform lighting level calculations, size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection, and perform voltage drop calculations.
In this role, you will work under general supervision to develop construction specifications, review and check vendor drawings and other discipline drawings, and assist other engineers in developing and assembling scopes, drawings and specifications into a 'package'. You will also be responsible for reviewing fabrication drawings and other construction submittals for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
