What You'll Be Doing
Job Scope: Data Admin Specialist role for indirect material is responsible for administrating material code creation, modification & obsoletion. Serves as the direct interface between Purchasing, internal clients, and site personnel while supporting the Master Data Specialist team.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Data Team with material master set up
- Building essential spreadsheets for MRO materials
- Assisting the Data Team with Admin support Required
- Perform the MDG purchasing data role for indirect materials and direct materials
- Review the “Free Text Orders” to obtain material numbers using Fiori
- Build MDG Template for any new materials needed
- Assist with building mass create templates
- Data Support to all Data Roles Preferred Skills
- Proficient in SAP purchasing transactions
- Works independently, is self-motivated and accountable
- Customer service mindset & communication skills
- Excellent planning & organization skills
- Be able to work under pressure towards tight deadlines
- Take independent action and willing to learn
- Team Player to help with the overall workload Education
Ideal Background
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced coursework is highly preferred.
Certification: No certification is required for this position.
Experience: This position requires 6 or more years of experience in providing administrative support, preferably in an industrial engineering environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of MRO materials
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong SAP Procurement work process knowledge
- Ability to interface with internal and external clients/ suppliers
- Team work and service mindset
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail Essential
