What You'll Be Doing
Job Scope: This position is an embedded services role in accordance with a regional service agreement with an engineering partner. This position is responsible for the overall supervision of the embedded site team and to serve as the Hargrove single point contact for the client.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Direct the work and responsibilities for embedded site personnel.
- Manage the timesheet and invoicing process.
- Assist with resource planning.
- Serve as liaison between the Geismar site and Hargrove home office on project status updates and performance issues.
- Serve as the emergency contact for site team personnel.
- Schedule and run monthly safety meetings with onsite team members
- Ensure that all employees have access to required PPE, understand and complete required EHS training.
- Follow up coaching for missed or late EHS training.
- Coordinate with Security for badge renewals.
- Perform personnel performance evaluations.
- Conduct 1:1 check-ins with each site employee on a quarterly basis minimum.
- Conduct regular check-ins with stakeholders
- Manage personal development and identify areas of improvement.
- Address and coach productivity, attendance, and behavioral issues. Onboarding
- Lead the recruitment, screening, and onboarding process when hiring new employees.
- Coordinate site access requirements and computer access for new hires.
- Maintain communication to keep client informed during the recruitment and onboarding.
Ideal Background
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Human Resources or related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Registration: Certified Staffing or Technical Services certification is highly preferred.
Experience: This position requires a minimum of 15 years of recruiting and staffing administration or management. Human Resources experience is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Travel (local and overnight) to client sites will be required.
- Knowledge of office administration procedures.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extreme multi-tasking.
- Ability to analyze data, make judgments and develop reports.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with teammates, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to be discreet in dealing with sensitive situations and maintaining confidentiality in all areas.
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or laws.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to listen and ascertain the needs of teammates.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and other software as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs.
