The National Account Manager, Convenience Stores channel, is directly responsible for managing and growing the strategic corporate partnerships between HARIBO and our convenience store channel customers along with assigned broker selling partners. This will be achieved by corporate headquarter calls and visits at national c-store chains as well as partnerships with assigned broker selling partners. The National Account Manager will develop accurate sales forecasts for wholesale distribution of HARIBO of America products, achieving or exceeding projected key account sales goals and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a remote, field-based position. The ideal National Account Manager, Convenience Stores channel, will have 5 years of experience in sales experience in the CPG - Consumer Packaged Goods industry, prior experience selling into the Convenience stores channel, the ability to travel up to 40% of the time - nation-wide, a Bachelor's Degree, and experience calling on headquarters.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies and plans to meet assigned sales and market share goals for assigned accounts
- Own, manage, and develop strong customer relationships with headquarters of assigned national convenience store chains
- Lead, collaborate, and hold Broker's accountable for plans within assigned accounts
- Develop and achieve accurate rolling sales forecasts to optimize production, demand, and sales planning and minimize out of stocks
- Ability to own all operational responsibilities in order to achieve sales targets and KPIs
- 5 years of strategic sales experience in the CPG - Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- Experience calling on corporate headquarters
- Working knowledge of customer and syndicated data tools (IRI, Circana, Nielsen, etc)
- This is a remote, field-based position that required the ability to travel up to 40% of the time, nation-wide, with overnight stays
- Prior experience selling into the Convenience stores channel of trade
- Candy, confectionary, or salty snacks experience
- Experience managing trade spend - both working and non-working trade
- Experience in category analytics and fact-based selling
