What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator Safety Health & Environmental position at HARIBO?
Reporting to the Head of Safety Health & Environmental, the Administrator Safety Health & Environmental is responsible for supporting Safety, Health, and Environmental initiatives within the company. This role provides administrative support to the overall Safety, Health and Environmental functions in manufacturing, ensuring compliance to all external regulations and HARIBO standards. This Administrator Safety Health & Environmental is also responsible for training and coaching of Associates to ensure adherence to our safety culture at HARIBO. This position is based out of HARIBO’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the production facility.
- Identify and assess potential safety, health, and environmental hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support and drive site adherence to applicable HARIBO policies / procedures, processes and operating principles through communication, training, coaching and reinforcement activities.
- Facilitate training programs for employees on safety practices and emergency response protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve safety performance and promote a culture of safety.
- Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Administers accident investigation processes under management direction, including all accidents and near-miss accidents, and analyzes collected data to identify trends and areas of opportunity.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and right to know stations up to date.
- Coordinate fire extinguisher audits and follow ups.
- Maintain spill kits ready to use.
- Maintain and support risk prediction program.
- Administer PPE Program for the Plant, ensuring inventories are maintained as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
