What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acquisition Specialist II (DOE L clearance) position at Harkcon Inc?
Harkcon, Inc. is supporting Dept of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation (OST) and is hiring an Acquisition Specialist to serve as Lead for a team of 2 Acquisition Specialists assigned to NNSA OST facilities in NM and AR.
This important position will find you leading acquisition specialists as both you and they provide support to our gov’t client in the following areas:
- Acquisition, invoicing, and administrative coordination
- Preparation, submission, tracking of OST's procurements for supplies, equipment, services,
- Invoicing, administrative, and customer service support to OST federal program managers.
Additionally, you will ensure there is cross training in acquisition, invoicing, and administrative areas amongst your team.
Qualifications
- BA/BS
- High school diploma with an additional 4 years of the below listed work experience is accepted in lieu of a BA/BS
- 3 years of Supervisory experience (prioritizing workload, conflict resolution, and manage employees at multiple locations)
- 3 years of experience in procuring items/supplies and payment/reconciliation for private/government sector
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft products (especially Excel)
- Familiarity or experience with the following government systems (preferred)
- iPORTAL
- STRIPES
- VIAS
- Share Point
- Clearance: DOE L
This work will be done on-site at government facilities in Albuquerque, NM.
